Trust is an inner knowing which comes from the Truth that you are part of the Creator and connected to all levels of reality, the understanding that everything in your life unfolds in perfection.
Personally I can recall so many life experiences where I chose NOT to trust that little inner voice.
Results: struggle, conflict, not feeling “good” about that life experience.
From my studies in mind-body energy, I learned that by being present, still and paying attention in the moment, we effortlessly and clearly can get these inner messages. Your body knows how to communicate feelings to you viscerally so you get it’s message!
For example, think of just-out-of-the-oven warm chocolate chip cookies. Can you sense a feeling of openness, expansiveness or relaxation in your body…or perhaps in your gut, or head? That you can interpret as your body saying “Yes”.
The opposite example, connect with cold chopped liver. Can you feel a sense of contraction, pulling in, tenseness? That would be your body expressing a “NO”.
Try it! Use your own different examples…a place you love to spend time in and another that you don’t.
Just feel it. Now, to make it work for you effectively…the truth here is to begin to trust your body’s innate wisdom as it communicates this to you.
It does work, and with practice will become a wonderful guiding light for you.
