Are you feeling a need to rebirth your life?
Spring – new beginnings, freshness, movement, rebirth of nature, light and warmth and colour will soon abound. Mother Earth is swelling with the potential of her bountiful gifts, so maybe we too are ready to “birth” new beginnings.
We naturally feel an urge to “spring clean” our bodies and homes and get our gardens ready for flourishing. And while these outward changes benefit us, spring is also a beautiful time to look within yourself and prepare the garden of your life to manifest your dreams.
Here are 5 powerful ideas to plant the seeds of your intentions and see them flourish into becoming:
Ask yourself what has and has not worked in your life in the past. What actions seeded desired outcomes? Take stock of your inner and outer worlds to determine what changes you want and need to make before you can prepare the ground for new seeds. Have emotions of fear, unworthiness, unforgiveness, self-criticism, disempowerment, or any other negative patterns of consciousness affected the garden of your life? Maybe your job or career has been thriving, but you feel lonely and isolated. Perhaps, you want to meet “the one,” but are so afraid of getting hurt again. Does work and home life need more balance? How is your health?
2. Weed Out What Is Stale:
Are you entangled with weeds of self-doubt, self-judgement? Weeds of resentment towards someone who hurt, abused or betrayed you – it’s time to let these go as they squelch your energy and enthusiasm and eat away at your self-confidence, self-esteem and self-love. Pull these weeds out from the root so that you can start nourishing your garden with the love, trust, hope and joy.
How? Pick up an old twig and blow your “must let go’s” into it, then bury it in the ground or safely burn in a fire. Just know it is DONE. Take a few deep breaths, have a sea salt bath and drink plenty of water to continue the clearing process.
3. Plan your New Life:
Think now of what you want to replace those “weeds” with. What ideas do you want to grow? More meaning in your work? A dedicated spiritual practice? More fulfillment in your relationships? A healthier diet, a fitness plan? “Energy flows where intention goes”, so it’s important to get very clear on what you want to create and experience. Write your goals on paper as an act of faith that this will indeed be done.
Now place your focus, vision and excitement in what you want, to allow the seeds of your dreams to blossom. The key here is to be grateful for what is coming, act as if it is yours and you have it already! Also monitor if the weeds of doubt creep up so you can tear them out. Begin to take action – first steps!!
5. Be Patient and Caring:
Nourish your garden with your care by watering it with trust, let your hope be fertile soil, and the glow of your surrender be sunlight. Truly trust that the seeds of your dreams will germinate and bloom in their own Divine timing. Then notice the changes as your transition into what your are envisioning and doing…enjoy the garden of your creation!
